Panasonic and SIASUN are important strategic partners. In the field of new-energy vehicle electronics, the two companies have jointly delivered numerous industry-leading benchmark projects. Since the start of their collaboration in 2020, SIASUN and Panasonic have worked together across multiple domains, including the design and implementation of automotive electronic systems, on-board OBC production lines, compressor production lines, and more.At Panasonic’s manufacturing sites—such as its Dalian plant in China, its European facilities, and various other locations around the world—SIASUN teams have successfully completed the design, planning, and deployment of several large-scale production lines.Looking ahead, both parties will continue to explore new business models, drive technological innovation, and pursue emerging market opportunities. Together, they are committed to building a smarter, greener, more harmonious, and better future—jointly contributing to the sustainable development of global manufacturing.

Partner: A joint venture factory established by two globally renowned automotive brands

In 2019, SIASUN provided a large-scale deployment of chassis assembly and intralogistics mobile robot systems for the joint venture established in Alabama, USA, by two globally renowned automotive brands in the Asia-Pacific region, effectively supporting the plant’s production demands. In this project, SIASUN’s chassis-assembly mobile robots were responsible for chassis assembly operations for both automotive brands simultaneously. Equipped with dynamic tracking technology, the robots can autonomously follow and synchronize with the vehicle body in motion. Their routes can be flexibly adjusted according to process requirements, further enhancing production flexibility and meeting the client’s exacting craftsmanship standards and stringent expectations for manufacturing equipment.

Partner: The China manufacturing facility of a globally renowned automotive brand

In 2012, SIASUN deployed 28 servo spot-welding robots on the welding production line of a globally renowned automotive brand in the Asia-Pacific region. This system enabled intelligent mixed-flow production across three vehicle platforms and six vehicle models. The production line featured smart model switching, high-speed intelligent conveyance, distributed body-in-white inspection, and intelligent diagnostics. Overall, the technology was domestically leading and marked a milestone in which a domestic robot brand began to gain acceptance and recognition from established international automotive manufacturers.Technically, these spot-welding robots overcame challenges in the mechanical system optimization for high-speed, heavy-load industrial robots and in controlling the stability of high-speed, heavy-load motion, achieving excellent overall reliability and advanced human–machine interaction capabilities.

Partner: Globally renowned automotive components manufacturer

In 2022, SIASUN provided a globally renowned automotive components manufacturer in the Asia-Pacific region with its first fully automated shock absorber assembly and inspection line in China, delivering quality and takt time that fully met end-customer requirements. In 2023, SIASUN designed the company’s first semi-active CDC shock absorber assembly and inspection line in China, significantly enhancing the customer’s competitiveness in the suspension market. Building on the success of these earlier collaborations, in 2024 the two parties further deepened their partnership with the design and implementation of a production line at the company’s Czech factory.

Partner: China factory of a globally renowned automotive brand

Since 2016, SIASUN has been collaborating with a well-known Asia-Pacific automotive brand’s China factory on mobile robotics projects, building a full-process intelligent material handling system spanning stamping, welding, and final assembly.In the stamping workshop, heavy-duty mobile robots were deployed to automate the transportation of stamping dies and achieve precise alignment with large stamping machines, enhancing both die-change efficiency and safety. In the welding workshop, conveyor-type mobile robots accurately delivered body parts such as doors to each process station in line with production takt, enabling flexible workstation supply. At the final assembly stations, dual-lifting mobile robots were deployed to complete high-precision assembly of front and rear suspensions and powertrains with the vehicle body. This project upgraded the traditional logistics chain into a perceptive, collaborative intelligent material handling network, setting a benchmark for a technology-driven, flexible, and smart factory for the automaker.

Partner: Globally renowned automotive air-conditioning system supplier

In 2024, SIASUN collaborated with a well-known Asia-Pacific automotive air-conditioning system supplier to address the challenge of automating the transfer of drying furnace racks at its Hiroshima factory. Traditionally, rack transfer required manual operation, but the high temperatures and powder generated during the drying furnace process posed health risks, while the racks themselves were heavy and numerous, placing a significant burden on workers. SIASUN implemented an intelligent mobile robotics solution for automated transport, significantly improving the factory’s production efficiency and level of automation. This project also represents an important local market exploration for SIASUN, laying a solid foundation for subsequent localized market development.
