SIASUN (Singapore) Wins Technology Innovation Award CEO Zhao Chen Discusses a New Blueprint for ASEAN Cooperation

At the concurrent high-level roundtable forum, Mr. Zhao Chen, Chief Executive Officer of SIASUN (Singapore), delivered a comprehensive presentation under the theme “Forward-Looking Deployment of Future Industries and Collaborative Innovation for Shared Development.” He systematically outlined SIASUN’s technological roadmap and development strategy in the field of embodied intelligence. Mr. Zhao noted that Singapore and the ASEAN market constitute a critical pillar of the company’s global strategy. Looking ahead, SIASUN will continue to deepen cooperation with regional partners in areas including technology research and development, application scenarios, and talent cultivation, with the aim of jointly building an open, collaborative, and intelligent industrial ecosystem.

Over the years, SIASUN has been deeply engaged in the Singapore and ASEAN markets, actively advancing technological and industrial cooperation with local partners. The company has delivered numerous benchmark projects, driving the upgrading of bilateral value chains and achieving mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

SIASUN has cumulatively delivered more than 130 port mobile robots to the Port of Singapore, the world’s largest transshipment hub, making it the largest supplier of port mobile robots at the port. The robots feature a rated payload of up to 65 tonnes, combining strength, efficiency, and precision, and are capable of meeting the handling requirements of containers of various sizes. In addition, addressing customer pain points, SIASUN has developed the world’s first empty-container stacking robot, which is capable of automated handling as well as stacking and unstacking of empty containers of different specifications. The system can interface with multiple types of port mobile robots from SIASUN and other manufacturers, enabling end-to-end intelligent and unmanned operations across the entire container yard.

In the Eastern Economic Corridor on Thailand’s eastern seaboard, Southeast Asia’s first 5G smart factory, a highly acclaimed landmark project, has once again completed an “evolutionary upgrade”. A diverse portfolio of SIASUN robots now operates in coordinated collaboration—ranging from industrial robots and collaborative robots to mobile robots and intelligent warehousing systems. The futuristic manufacturing and logistics scenarios are truly striking, forming the new “arteries” that connect and drive the factory’s production and operations.

At the first overseas engine assembly plant of a well-known Chinese automotive brand located in Southeast Asia, SIASUN worked closely with the customer to plan and deliver a stable and highly efficient turnkey production line. Leveraging its global operational footprint, SIASUN’s headquarters was responsible for project planning, design, and manufacturing, while the Thailand-based team handled on-site installation and after-sales services, creating another industry benchmark project in the local market.

At a Southeast Asian manufacturing facility of a globally renowned luxury automotive brand, SIASUN collaborative robots, integrated with 3D vision technology, flexibly maneuver their dual arms to perform automated underbody sealant spraying. This marks the first deployment of SIASUN’s proprietary collaborative robots in an automotive OEM plant in Thailand, and also represents a landmark case in Thailand’s automotive sector, being the first project to complete sealant spraying using a combination of 3D vision and collaborative robots.

At the production site of a well-known international new energy battery manufacturer in Southeast Asia, the client team highly commended SIASUN for its professional, rigorous, and efficient construction processes. The project encompassed a customized non-standard formation and capacity testing line as well as a battery testing idle storage facility. Despite a tight schedule and high technical complexity, the SIASUN team successfully delivered the project by employing measures such as strict control over delivery timing and efficient on-site management, laying a solid foundation for further collaboration in the future.
