SIASUN Partners with Baidu AI Cloud to Chart an Innovative Blueprint for “Robotics + AI”

On May 28, SIASUN and Baidu AI Cloud held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. The partnership aims to leverage their respective technological and product strengths to drive innovation and application in the eldercare field. This collaboration is set to meet the daily companionship and monitoring needs of homebound elderly individuals, enhancing the functionality and experience of eldercare products.

Baidu, a global leader in AI, excels in artificial intelligence and large model innovation. SIASUN, as the National Engineering Research Center for Robotics Technology, has pioneered over a hundred industry “firsts”in China robotics development history. According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop and iteratively upgrade a series of home companion robots based on Baidu’s Large Model ERNIE. This collaboration aims to achieve friendly two-way communication between the elderly and companion robots. Additionally, by integrating various intelligent sensors and specialized equipment, the partnership will continually enhance the capabilities of companion robots in safety monitoring, health management, daily care, and emergency response.

Furthermore, both parties will leverage the characteristics of artificial intelligence and large-scale model technology to upgrade SIASUN robotic eldercare series products, enhancing the usability and convenience of the equipment. Simultaneously, they will continuously improve the SIASUN Community Eldercare Data Management Platform, explore new models and service formats for intelligent elderly care, and promote the intelligent upgrading and sustainable development of the medical and eldercare industry.
