NVH is NVH is a comprehensive issue to measure the quality of automobile manufacturing, which gives the most direct and superficial feeling to automobile users.
Simply define, NVH refers to noise, vibration and sound vibration roughness respectively. Vehicle NVH is one of the concerns of major vehicle manufacturers and component companies in the international automotive industry, and the optimisation of NVH can enhance the driving experience of a vehicle.
Under the current development trend of new energy vehicles, customers have invested a lot of R&D in the development of new energy vehicles . The following is the NVH test platform after the electric drive assembly is completed. There are many electric drive models on the test platform, with different sizes and power models , and the test positions are all different, which require the test probes to be placed vertically on the test surfaces of the electric drives, and the test process takes a long time, and at the same time, due to the limitation of the site, the test space of the test platform is relatively small, which requires robots to complete the positional inspection in a small space and with high precision.
Firstly, according to the design of the inspection platform, by simulating the robot’s inspection position accessibility, as well as evaluating the robot’s movement trajectory. Due to the small load of the probe for NVH inspection, the DUCO GCR5-910 collaborative arm with a load of 5kg and 910mm arm span was selected to meet the working requirements. As the design of the inspection platform is to convey the electric drive in from one side and output the electric drive to the next sequence from the other side, there is a mechanism limitation on both sides, so only 2 sets of GCR5-910 collaborative arms can be mounted upside down on the top of the inspection platform. When the electric drive has not entered the inspection platform, the two machines are extended to the outside to ensure that there is enough space above the electric drive can be transported to the inspection platform. When the electric drive is clamped, the 2 robots start to run to the inspection position for inspection in sequence
At the present stage of tight workstation space, DUCO collaborative robot GCR5 can flexibly use the existing space to work, while ensuring the inspection accuracy and enhancing the flexibility of line automation. GCR5 has a simple and stable operating system, which not only facilitates the debugging of on-site technicians but also ensures the stability of automated lines, providing a reliable platform for NVH inspection.
