Firstly, according to the design of the inspection platform, by simulating the robot’s inspection position accessibility, as well as evaluating the robot’s movement trajectory. Due to the small load of the probe for NVH inspection, the DUCO GCR5-910 collaborative arm with a load of 5kg and 910mm arm span was selected to meet the working requirements. As the design of the inspection platform is to convey the electric drive in from one side and output the electric drive to the next sequence from the other side, there is a mechanism limitation on both sides, so only 2 sets of GCR5-910 collaborative arms can be mounted upside down on the top of the inspection platform.
